Dear Parents and Students,

I would like to express my gratitude to Dr. Eddie Ho Kang-wai, our School Supervisor for giving us a remarkable speech in the school opening ceremony. Dr. Ho used the word “LEAD” in which L stands for Learning, E stands for Example, A stands for Affection and D stands for Discipline, to elaborate the quality of a leader from different aspects.

This was followed by my sharing regarding our theme and the focuses of the year in terms of three As.

1. Autonomy – to develop students’ sense of responsibility in their studies, behavior, family and community.
2. Academic Achievements – to unleash students’ potential by actively participating in different internal and external learning opportunities so as to broaden their horizons and consolidate their learning.
3. Administration – to reduce teachers’ administrative work so as to empower them in students’ learning and curriculum development.

We would like to keep our channels of communication with stakeholders open to ensure the quality of education in our school. I wish each student and their family a very productive year.
