Dear Parents and Students,

The implementation of bilingual education has been ongoing at Pooi To for the past 6 years. Following the guiding principle of the student-centred approach and catering for learner diversity, we aim to strengthen students' English proficiency and enhancing the English learning environment while promoting mother-tongue teaching. We have faced different challenges in this transformation. We thank God for guiding and blessing us in this journey of transformation. We also thank Ms. Enian Tsang, our former principal for her leadership and perseverance in boosting our girls’ bilingual proficiency and preparing them to be self-motivated lifelong learners.

Sustaining something can sometimes be a bigger task than creating it. Therefore, in order to sustain the direction of bilingual education, the support of stakeholders is vital to foster our girls in broadening their view of the world, promoting cross-cultural exchange and equipping them to meet the challenges of the 21st century. Let’s walk together in the light of God with love. Love gives us the strength to face challenges with faith, hope and perseverance. This unselfish and endless love can nurture our girls so that their true potential could be unleashed.

Best regards,
Constance Cheung
Principal
