Dear Parents and Students,

As we step into Pooi To’s 130th Anniversary in God' shelter and protection, we thank Him for His love and grace. Our school motto, “Love, Integrity, Purity and Perseverance” has been upheld all these days to nurture our girls and contribute to the community. This is our response to God’s grace.

The word "love" is the essence of the salvation of Christ. As the Bible says " Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonour others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails. " 1 Corinthians 13:4-8. At Pooi To, we have made God’s love our cornerstone for 130 years, engendering a loving and caring culture for teachers and students, who can dare to dream and shine in this harmonious learning environment. Some people nowadays are intelligent, talented, rich or heroic, but, if they do not have love, they are nothing.  We are committed to nurturing students to follow Jesus Christ to love, and to be a role model for others.

In addition, Pooi To places emphasis on whole-person development. Our students are exposed to different learning experiences to challenge themselves, serve others, grow and glow. Our Alumna, Ms Chan Shuk Kwan (2013, Hei House) received a 2017 Hong Kong Award for Young People. We would like to congratulate her on her contribution to society and for her perseverance and determination to challenge herself and her humble heart to serve others.

Best regards,
Constance Cheung
