 Dear Parents and Students,

The word "Purity" in the school motto "Love, Integrity, Purity and Perseverance" means unswerving determination to achieve your goal. People with pure minds give careful thought to their path and are steadfast in all their ways.
People need to set goals, (both short term and long term) for themselves. Sometimes they encounter unexpected difficulties and problems before achieving their goals. Some people stick to their goals and overcome all difficulties. However, the same difficulties and problems often hinder other people whose lack of confidence makes them give up their efforts and eventually give up their goals. What does the Bible teach us? Before Apostle Paul followed Jesus, he pursued all the fame and wealth in the world for his own benefit. However, once he believed in God, he considered fame & wealth to be dung. He said “I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining towards what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 3:13-14. Paul readily gave up everything for the goal of following Jesus. May our students follow Paul’s example to purely stick to their goals and achieve them. Last but not least, Chloe Poon of S.4 won a Distinguished Student Award in the "9th Kowloon Region Outstanding Students Election”. Congratulations! I encourage students to actively participate in different activities to broaden their horizons, and equip themselves to contribute to the community in the future.
 Best regards,
