Dear Parents and Students,

When people see half a glass of water, some would say, "The glass is half-full!" Others may say, "It is half-empty". People often hardly notice what they have but pay more attention to what we don’t have. Therefore, people easily fall into temptation. It is challenging nowadays to nurture students to live in “Purity”, as espoused by our school motto “Love, Integrity, Purity and Perseverance”.

People with a pure heart, mind and soul are the ones who stand firm against temptation. The Bible says, " Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it." Proverbs 4:23. Of course, upholding high moral standards, firming the mind and drawing clear cut lines against sin are not inborn abilities. The necessary values should be nurtured by parents and teachers. We have to work closely to guide students on the right path. In the Bible, Job gave testimony, making a covenant with God: "If my steps deviate from the right path, if my heart has been led by my eyes or my hands stained by misdeed, let others eat my food and take the produce of my fields. "Job 31:7-8. His trust in God makes Job a role model for us to learn how to avoid falling into the trap of temptation.

This year's Gospel Week will be held from November 27 to December 1, and all staff and students will attend the "Hong Kong Gospel 2017 - Love of Hong Kong" on December 1. May God bless our girls to accept the salvation of Jesus Christ through the sermons from Professor Joseph J.Y. Sung and Rev. Bobby Lo. In addition, all parents are welcome to join  this gospel event, in which six other evangelistic sessions will be held at the Hong Kong Stadium from November 30 to December 3 as follows.
