 Dear Parents and Students,
In this new learning environment, students and teachers have been alternating face-to-face and online learning throughout the year. Adapting hasn’t been easy for everyone. In a blink of an eye, students have completed the year-end exams, and the school year is about to finish. The school has collected opinions from all parties involved, and we will review them in detail to improve the arrangements for the coming year. We collected 573 questionnaires from parents and 553 students, with a response rate of 96.1% and 92.8% respectively. The parents responded positively in all aspects and were satisfied with their daughter's overall performance. The data analysis is as follows:
Major Concern 1: Optimizing the positive value of development to meet the challenges

 Words of appreciation

 (1)    Appreciation of the school as a whole. (49 parents have similar opinions)

I appreciate the school's dedicated efforts to students, and the appropriate adjustments they have made for teaching under the new normal so that students can continue to learn. (×13)I appreciate the various types of support provided by the school including encouraging my daughter to participate in different activities! I hope that my daughter will grow up happily and healthily with the love of Christ! I thank the school staff for working together to build a beautiful campus! (×10)During difficult times, I saw the school quickly implement various policies and notify the parents via eClass, which is appreciated. (×3)I admire Pooi To’s ability to allow students to participate in Arts in Action during the pandemic this year, and use video recording and post-production to upload it on YouTube so that everyone can appreciate Pooi To Girls’ talents and performances. I especially appreciate the shooting of the Chinese dance. In addition to the wonderful dances of the students, we can also make use of the beautiful angle of the campus to produce ingenious short films. (×2)I appreciate the school's incentive programs/small gifts (for example: tea and cookies) to make students more engaged and focused on the classroom and activities, so that students can feel the school's care and recognition of them.I appreciate that the school helps students to enhance their understanding of the country and the obligations of citizens, and hope that the school will continue to maintain it.The school support for students’ learning is worthy of appreciation, because during the pandemic, students may not have the appropriate electronic devices in their homes for lessons. The school lends out iPads to help students learn at home.  (2) The teacher cares about the students, teaches seriously, and carefully arranges online teaching during the suspension of classes. (13 parents have similar opinions)
I thank the principal and teachers for doing their best to teach our daughters online during the pandemic. From the parents’ day meeting, as a parent, I fully feel that the teachers teach, guide and care for students in all aspects. Thank you all! (×4)Our daughter cannot always go to school, and relies only on online lessons. I am grateful to the teachers for their hard work in coordinating and rearranging the curriculum, strengthening communication and providing time to time feedback to keep them improving. I’m indeed impressed. (×2)During the pandemic, online classes were conducted at home, the principal personally supervised each class, and the subject teachers performed their duties, creating a good learning atmosphere. I am very grateful.I appreciate that the school can provide homework remedial classes for students from time to time.I appreciate that the teacher prepares review notes for students, so that students in need can understand the content of the text more easily. Areas for improvement
 (1)    Teaching arrangements during the suspension period.

My daughter has never been able to absorb information effectively in online classes. At the same time, online classes will inevitably limit the teaching effectiveness of the teacher, which makes me very worried about her academic foundation.Students’ learning motivation has been reduced, but they have more homework, and there are many problems without support in learning.  (2)  Strengthen academic support for students after classes resume
I hope to have more after-school tutoring classes. The teacher interacts with the students more when going to the Zoom class. I have read the parents’ feedback carefully and thank the parents for their support and appreciation of the school and for putting forward valuable comments so that we can further optimize the development of the school. In addition, referring to the parents’ letter (P16) issued last week about the survey on school vaccinations of the "BioNTech" vaccine, we have received more than 100 parents and students who are interested in participating in the school vaccination program. However, it has not reached 300 which is the requirement for school outreach. Therefore, our school will work with other secondary schools in the Kowloon City District to arrange a joint-school vaccination plan in order to meet the minimum number of 300 people, so as to facilitate students and parents to get vaccinated through the school vaccination plan. Please see the attachment for details. If students/parents fail to come to the school to be vaccinated on that date, they can also choose to make an appointment for vaccination on the website https://booking.covidvaccine.gov.hk/. I encourage everyone to actively get vaccinated and work together to maintain a safe school campus.
   Best regards, Constance Cheung
