Voluntary Work and Cultural Exchange in Cambodia

Students who were enthusiastic about doing community services grasped this opportunity to understand poverty and other social issues in Cambodia. All the participants helped with a range of work in primary schools and orphanages including teaching English, playing games and making handicrafts. The beneficiaries of the services appreciated their efforts and a special gift – a Qipao Barbie doll designed by our students.

They visited Angkor to learn about the religious, political and cultural development of the region and the daily life of the Angkorian people, besides being involved in voluntary work. What amazed them most was the gorgeous architecture and breathtaking scenery. All the students remarked that the trip gave them exposure to the history and society of Cambodia.
