English Day and Cross-cultural Activity
|Date: 27 April 2018
Our English Day Fête was an elaborate affair held on a warm and sunny day. Junior form students competed fiercely to enhance their knowledge of British and other tea-drinking customs and etiquette before cashing in their winnings (“passport” chops) for the tea drinking – and brownie eating – experience.
The English Activities Committee workers ably manned the game booths and tea house while English ambassadors roved the area rewarding English conversation. Our talented musicians and singers contributed to the ambience.
