The 54th Graduation Ceremony |
Date: 24 May 2018 The ceremony opened with a prayer followed by a song of praise and scripture reading. The whole school gave thanks to the Lord for His love and wonderful works done for us. On this occasion, our principal Ms. Constance Cheung gave a comprehensive overview of the school’s key accomplishments and the Supervisor Dr. Eddie Ho then presented the teaching and supporting staff with Service Awards for their years of contribution and commitment to the school. We were very honoured to have Professor Tsui Lap-chee address the school. In his awe-inspiring speech, Professor Tsui emphasized the importance of young people extending their capabilities and pursuing their own interests in academic studies and career development. His experience also encouraged them to set clear goals and overcome weaknesses to achieve success. The graduates felt inspired and empowered. Shortly thereafter, certificates and prizes were awarded to our graduates by Prof. Tsui and our school managers to celebrate their achievements. All the audience expressed appreciation for their diligence. To express gratitude for all the effort which the school made to nurture them, the Yi House Captain delivered a graduation speech while the Vice-captain proposed a vote of thanks to the school. The evening was rounded off with the School Song and a hymn, performed by our school orchestra and choir. |
