The introduction of the school history, the mission and motto and the visits to the School Library and History Gallery led by the Principal let our new members know more about Pooi To. In addition, the drama lessons could enhance their interest in learning English and optimize their language proficiency. Through the bridging courses in Science, Mathematics and Computer & Information Technology, they could also have a taste of learning these academic subjects in English. Besides, the guidance given by the student tutors, class-based and adventure-based activities enabled them to get a glimpse of the new learning mode, be familiar with Pooi To school life, establish relationships with their peers and equip themselves to face challenges that lie ahead of them.
We are convinced that every newcomer has benefited from this diversified and fulfilling orientation week and will be able to adapt to the new school life.
