A group of 28 S.6 students studying Biology or Chemistry showed much interest in the pharmaceutical industry. Through the visit to Lee’s Pharmaceutical Holdings Ltd., the students could better understand the structure of the pharmaceutical industry in Hong Kong. Students also looked at the work of a gene laboratory including the most advanced DNA sequencing technologies in Hong Kong. They also visited the GMP Production Plant to take a look at the general production line and try out the special medical devices. They were amazed to see and learn more about the equipment used for pharmaceutical processes and analysis. The visit was very rewarding and was an invaluable learning experience.
