Reading Week

 

Date: 1, 4-7 March 2019

Having engaged in various reading activities, students realized the importance of developing a good reading habit. A book fair, and book sharing by parents, teachers and students were arranged for students to explore more about the world and enhance their analytical thinking skills.

Inter-class Book Sharing

Students were eager to share the joy of reading and the wonderful books they had read with their schoolmates.

Teachers’ Book Sharing

Teachers demonstrated the benefits of reading and encouraged students to read motivational books of all time.

Mr. Chan Chong-kuk shared that all Scriptures are God’s breath, and it is above and beyond science. The books shows that all the incidents and miracles recorded in the Old Testament have been verified by modern science.  No scientific evidence contradicts the Bible in his reading of Science and the Bible.

 
Ms. Chan Ying-ying reminded students to prepare themselves for the future of artificial intelligence in her reading of 《未來世界的倖存者》.
 

Through his reading of Arduino Project Handbook, Mr. Chan San-wing inspired students to attempt to make their own small computer, electronic drums and robotic arms.

Parents’ Book Sharing

Not only were students taught to learn from losses and move forward from mistakes, but they were taught the importance of developing qualities that would help them grow and succeed through reading Sometimes You Win -- Sometimes You Learn for Teens.

Chinese Book Fair

The book fair provided students with a chance to instill a love of reading that lasts a lifetime and motivation to read different materials and choose the topics that captivate them the most.
