At the exhibition ‘Tim Yip: Blue –Art, Costumes and Memory’, students were enchanted by the 21 costumes designed by Mr Tim Yip, the winner of the Academy Award for Best Costume Design and a world-renowned visual artist, stage and film art director and costume designer for over 30 years. They learnt more about how Mr Yip explores and communicates his aesthetic concept of ‘New Orientalism’ and what he has experienced in his career path. Besides, students had a reflection on the development of Artificial Intelligence after watching Collapsed Lili, 2010.
