As the highlight of ‘Arts in Action 2021’, the hit Broadway musical ‘Annie Jr.’ performed by our 21 strong cast of S1- S4 students, the crew members, the percussion band and the backstage team, concluded filming and production in June and has debuted online.

Despite the challenges brought about by the pandemic, our crew made a tremendous effort to showcase a melange of art forms. The collaborative venture displays the extraordinary talents of our students after 8 months of theatrical training and behind-the-scenes production. Their sensational and energetic staging was compelling, with classic songs like ‘I Don’t Need Anything but You’ and ‘Tomorrow’, as well as our special featured guest - a real dog, Rocky!

Without the strong dedication and enthusiasm of our Pooi To members, our school production would not have managed to put on such a spectacular performance. Whether it is backstage or on-stage, we hope this is an experience our girls will always remember.
