Due to the adverse weather conditions, the event, which was originally held on October 9, was postponed to October 16. After the prayer, the Chairperson and Vice-chairlady of the Parent-Teacher Association, Mr. Samson Ng & Ms. Janice Chung, and the Treasurer, Ms. Eva Leung presented the 2020/21 Annual Report and Financial Report at the online General Annual Meeting. Afterwards, the amendments to the PTA constitution were ratified.

Sharing the school theme, the Principal presented awards to three Pooi To parents who had been awarded the Best Parent in the Election by the Federation of Parent-Teacher Association, Kowloon City District. She also expressed heartfelt thanks to the parent volunteers and the 27th PTA committee members for their significant support and contribution by presenting Certificates of Appreciation to them.

Afterwards, the Chairlady, Ms Ieven Yuen, introduced the new executive committee members. The Committee was officially inaugurated at the ceremony and will continue to play a crucial role to foster close ties between parents and teachers, and work hand in hand with the school to arrange a great variety of activities. It was followed with a thank-you and acceptance speech by the vice-chairperson, Mr. Tsang and the newly elected Parent Manager, Ms. Janice Chung respectively.

The Home-school Gathering and talk on admission policies and courses offered by the universities were also conducted right after the meeting. Parents had a chance to talk to class teachers, discussing students’ learning progress at school, their study routines and behavior at home.
