Dear Parents and Students,

As I walk along the corridors and watch students learning in their classrooms each day, I am glad to see that our girls are concentrating on their classes and enjoying their lessons. I am also impressed to learn that many classes choose to open the classroom windows to let in some fresh air.

To further improve the learning environment in Pooi To, we must continue to raise the girls’ awareness of environmental protection and conservation with enhanced participation. This is a collective effort by all stakeholders of Pooi To to help make a change in their daily lives and make a cleaner, greener and better environment at Pooi To. This will help our girls to develop good habits in environmental conversation. They can firstly focus on energy saving, by reducing the use of air-conditioning or adjusting the temperature, turning off the power after using the computer and lights so that carbon dioxide emissions can be reduced and our environment can be protected.

At the end of each school year, we arrange the exchange or donation of old school uniforms and textbooks to encourage students to recycle resources and reduce the financial burden on parents. Let’s all do our part to help make a change.

Best regards,
Constance Cheung
