The students wrote their own script and were involved in the whole drama production. After months of preparation and numerous rehearsals, I am not a Princess was well-received by the adjudicators and the audience. Among 535 participating schools, our Club has been proudly selected as one of the 42 teams to join the Public Performance Phrase of the Festival at Y Theatre on 27 May 2016.

The drama is comprised of 8 individual stories which reflect every one of us has princess tendencies. The roles we act in life are the characters in fairy tales. Does it mean that we live in a fantasy world of our own? And we can’t distinguish between fantasy and reality? The drama will tell us the answers.

Through the process of the drama production, all participants including actors and backstage crew could develop communication and leadership skills, build self-confidence and increase creativity.
