A Trip to Tai O

Visiting the Tai O Heritage Hotel (formerly the Tai O Police Station) and strolling through the small streets, the students learnt the history and culture of this extraordinary fishing village. They tasted local food such as tea cakes, beancurd desserts and charcoal grilled egg waffles when exploring the surroundings. They were amazed at how local families lived in houses built on stilts above the river. They also took a dolphin watching tour but, unfortunately, they didn’t see any Chinese White Dolphins.
