We gave thanks to God for His countless blessings to the fact that He has been with us, protecting us and guiding us for 130 years. We offered our thanks and praise wholeheartedly for His mercy through singing hymns and saying prayers. To take the lead, the School Supervisor, Dr. Eddie Ho led a prayer of thanks for God’s goodness and mercy which poured out on us in the past 130 years. To further prove the grace of God, Principal Cheung gave an inspirational speech to demonstrate God’s presence, love and blessings in Pooi To while Dr. Philemon Choi Yuen-wan shared God’s grace on Pooi To since 1888：
-　Missionary Emma Young was sent to establish “Pooi To Academy” in Guangzhou for women to receive education and to learn about Christianity
- Love, Integrity, Purity and Perseverance were set as the school motto which help build the distinctive qualities into individual's life

The school motto “LoveŸ IntegrityŸ PurityŸ Perseverance”　reflects the word of God.
“Love”- sharing the love from God which can build a harmonious family and society
“Integrity”– developing an essential personal quality given by God and enabling it to glow through your life
“Purity” – pursuing spiritual purity and faithfulness in our lives as the Bible says “Blessed are the clean of heart, for they will see God”
“Perseverance” – building spiritual resilience to face challenges in life
