An online exchange activity with the theme ‘Historic Buildings and Food Culture in China and Hong Kong’ was held in the light of strengthening the bond between our school, Pooi To Middle School and our sister school, Guangzhou No.7 Middle School. Not only did this activity promote the culture of inclusion, but it also brought the students of these two regions closer.

The welcoming speeches made by our Principal, Ms Constance Cheung and the Principal of Guangzhou No.7 Middle School, Mr Zeng You Xian marked the commencement of the virtual meeting. After watching the videos of an illustration of the vision and mission and the campus facilities of the two schools, the students took part in a quiz show testing their knowledge of the schools.
The exciting game show was followed by a sharing session at which the two teams introduced the historical sites and the local gourmet food to each other.
This activity offered an opportunity for the students of these two schools to get to know more about their sister school and start developing relationships with each other. As the meeting drew to a close, the students wished for an end to the pandemic and campus visits to each other’s school in the near future.
