Flag-raising Ceremony in Celebration of the 25th Anniversary of the Establishment of the HKSAR

To celebrate the 25th anniversary of the establishment of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, the whole school, including the representative of the School Board, our former School Director, Dr Eddie Ho, the representatives of the Pooi To Alumni Association and the PTA attended the flag-raising ceremony. The national flag waving next to the regional flag of the HKSAR marked a milestone in the close cooperation between the people's Republic of China and the HKSAR, and also bore signs of affection for people in the mainland and a sense of belonging to the nation. Students could learn more about the HKSAR Government seeking to enhance Hong Kong young people's understanding of the development and opportunities in the Mainland, as well as to cultivate their sense of national identity through internship and exchange programmes in the Mainland, and also entrepreneurship programmes in the Greater Bay Area. They are encouraged to to get a better understanding of the latest developments of both Hong Kong and those cities and seize any opportunities opportunities for career advancement in the Greater Bay Area. The ceremony ended with a prayer led by Dr Eddie Ho.
