The theme of the academic year 2021/22 is ‘Stay Positive and Spread Love’ and  the bible verse is ‘Rejoice always,  pray continually,  give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.’ (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18). The verse reminds us of displaying joy in the Lord when encountering difficult circumstances, and this joy shines the brightest in dark situations. If we do all things with joy in the Lord rather than grumbling or complaining, we will stand out as lights in the world like bright stars.

Being a positive person is good for us as we can approach life with a positive outlook and have a better experience. We are also able to love and care for ourselves and others.  

In sharing love with others, we strive to live a Christ-like life, in which we excel in the grace of giving. When it comes to spreading love, it may benefit ourselves and others and make our lives meaningful, purposeful and rewarding.
