The Chinese History Department, History Department, and Student Learning Development Committee jointly organised Chinese Cultural Days. The event, designed by the Academic Prefects and students studying both subjects, featured booth games themed around ancient Chinese entertainment, appreciation of ancient poetry, Chinese medicine culture, and etiquette of wearing Hanfu. This allowed students to learn through experiential activities and appreciate the richness of Chinese culture. Eight games were included: pot throwing and appreciation of ancient Chinese poetry, Hanfu experience, ‘Six Arts’ Q&A game, archery game, metaverse virtual world experience, Wing Chun experience, Chinese medicine culture, archery game, and Chinese culture Q&A. The students were very enthusiastic, filling the Chinese Culture Room and History Culture Room to capacity. Exchange students from True Light Girls’ College participated in the activities hand in hand with our students, supporting each other. Our teachers encouraged us from the side, turning the third floor into a melting pot of Chinese culture.
