Today, five S3 students participated in the "National Geography Learning Camp" organised by the Education Bureau. Through various learning methods, including lectures, visiting the solar energy facilities at Hong Kong Baptist University, and virtual reality, the students learned about the country's renewable energy. They applied Geographic Information Systems to gain an in-depth understanding of the production of national energy maps. At the end of the event, there was a role-playing discussion session where students discussed the challenges and solutions for China to achieve the "carbon neutrality" energy summit. The learning camp expanded the students' knowledge of geography and cultivated their values in sustainable development. More importantly, it helps them realise the importance of safeguarding the country's energy security. It is believed that the learning outcomes from this camp will have a positive impact on their future studies and lives.
