We were honoured to invite Ms. Elsie Leung Oi-sie, GBM, JP, the first Secretary for Justice of the HKSAR and former Vice-Chairperson of the Committee for the Basic Law of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, to give an in-depth talk on the importance of "One Country, Two Systems", the Constitution, and the Basic Law to our S4 and S5 students.

During the talk, Ms. Leung first reviewed the historical background before Hong Kong's return to China, then analysed in detail the various difficulties and challenges faced in the formulation and implementation of "One Country, Two Systems". She further explained how the Constitution and the Basic Law effectively safeguard social security in Hong Kong and contribute to its prosperous and stable development.

Through this sharing session, students not only broadened their knowledge but also deepened their understanding of Hong Kong's role in the country's development, igniting their confidence and determination to contribute to the nation in the future.
