RTHK TV 31 and Radio 5's program "Meet the Masters!" series featured Chinese flower button master Ms. Mercy Mak and our Principal. Ms. Mak shared the history, creation process, and innovations of Chinese flower buttons. Our Principal then explained how Pooi To students and teachers learn from Ms. Mak, and how the craft has been incorporated into the S.2 Technology and Living curriculum this year to preserve this precious heritage. Additionally, our school has launched the "First Pooi To Flower Button Design Competition (Hong Kong Secondary Schools)," aiming to promote flower button culture among secondary school students and facilitate cultural and artistic exchange.
