Date:28 June - 8 July 2025 33 students and teachers embarked on an 11-day cultural adventure through the vibrant heart of the UK, exploring the best of London, Cambridge, Oxford, and Windsor. Our journey began with iconic landmarks like Westminster Abbey, Buckingham Palace, and the London Eye, offering stunning views and rich history. Students also explored the academic charm of Oxford and Cambridge, wandered historic colleges, and enjoyed punting along the River Cam. We were delighted to appreciate art which took centre stage at world-class venues such as the National Gallery, Tate Modern, Serpentine Gallery, and Victoria and Albert Museum, where everything from classical masterpieces to bold contemporary works is showcased. Besides, theatre experiences like “The Phantom of the Opera” and “The Lion King” left us in awe, while visits to Shakespeare’s Globe, Royal Albert Hall, and the Royal Academy of Music greatly deepened our appreciation for performance arts. Throughout the tour, students were exposed to art and culture displayed in various forms. From street art in Shoreditch to dinosaur fossils at the Natural History Museum, every day was filled with wonder, learning, and inspiration. The “Artsplosure” tour was not just an exploration of the arts; it was a celebration of culture, creativity and connection. We gladly returned with lasting memories, enriched minds, and hearts full of inspiration. It is undoubtedly one of the best memories of our school life. |
