Experiences in studies and careers shared by alumni are precious learning resources outside the classroom for the current students. Two alumni, namely Annie Lo and Erika Hong, from the legal industry and the human resource management sector respectively, shared their views on furthering studies overseas and pursuing careers in mainland China with fellow students.

With practical legal work experience gained in the Mainland enterprises, Annie returned to Hong Kong to advance her professional development. Not only did she share the importance of engagement and global perspective competency in both studies and workplace, she also expressed her career aspirations from Pooi To’s motto and her school life.

Erika Hong
Events Manager
Graduate of Griffith University, Australia – Master of Business in 2013

Erika has been an experienced event manager, specializing in corporate and cultural events nationally and globally. After working in Beijing for six years, she has returned to Hong Kong to develop her career further. Her sharing remarked that her secondary school life in Pooi To enabled her to become a good team player with strong communication and leadership skills.
