‘Heritage in Metaverse Scholar Leader Convention’ is an accredited event celebrating the 25th Anniversary of the Establishment of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.

Heritage in Metaverse Scholar Leader Convention co-organised by the Hong Kong Educational Equipment Industry Association, Education Employees General Union and our school, is aimed at enhancing the use of technology in teaching and learning. More than 100 guests from education fields, political groups and IT fields witnessed the integration of technology innovation in education. Mr. Leung Wang Ching, BBS, JP, Under Secretary for Home and Youth Affairs, encouraged educators to expand students’ learning opportunities, enhance their dimensions in learning and enter a new era of learning with students. He also emphasized the importance of cultivating students’ knowledge of Chinese culture, and increasing their current and future competitiveness.

At the convention, guests and students were invited to share their teaching and learning experiences of using technology innovation in education.

Before the event ended, participants seized the chance to explore Chinese history and culture in the virtual learning environment, Hanfu clothing designs and also appreciate porcelain painting.

It is hoped that more teachers can step into the Metaverse and generate more interest from virtual learning with students, and inspire them to develop self-directed learning and put the vision ‘integrating technology innovation in education, travelling without the restraint of time and space, and reviving national rejuvenation’ into practice.
