Language Arts: Learning English through Drama

In the first term, each S1 class split into two groups for weekly Best Actress Keli But 1C
drama classes with our teachers, Helen and Chris. In these lessons, Best Supporting Actress Chincco Lai 1C
students engaged in dramatic activities and learnt the basics of Best Use of Props Julianna Chi 1A
drama on stage. Each group then took one part of the script from Most Comedic Actress Carmen Lui 1A
the musical ‘Matilda’, and after weeks of hard work preparing Best Overall Group S.1C (Nos. 1-14)
props and costumes, creating backgrounds and sound, learning Best PowerPoint & Sound Effects S.1B (Nos. 18-34)
