• History Project

ENGLISH LANGUAGE X HISTORY

To further promote Language across the Curriculum, an
English Cross-curricular Project which enabled S3 students to
innovatively share the fruits of their learning through videos
and presentations was organized on 9 May, 2019. Beginning in Champion
February, students started to investigate a significant historical
event of their choice from WWI to WWII. Creative videos were
then filmed and edited by them. After the first round, the
winning team from each class had a precious opportunity to
compete in the final. Their order in the final competition was
based on the historical timeline of the events, starting with the
Sarajevo Incident. We would like to express our special thanks
to the judges, Ms Christine Xavier (NET), Mr John Hone (NET)
and Mr Tai Tze Lok (Panel Chairperson of History), for their 1st runner-up
invaluable adjudication.

ENGLISH LANGUAGE X Science

Spelling can be fun! To help the students retain new words
in their long-term memory, we have found a way to provide
multiple exposures to new words.
