               o cultivate a positive attitude in students towards reading, our school has organized various
               activities. From a book fair and BookCrossing to Battle of the Books and the authors’ talks,
               we want to build a strong school-wide reading culture that targets all students.


           • Author’s talk – Mr. Jack Cheng

           Mr. Jack Cheng shared with us his writing journey and how he came to write his middle grade
           smash-hit See you in the Cosmos. It’s about a tale of family which goes in between worlds and
           all that lies beyond. He even talks about his way of meditation! How interesting!

                                                             Our first BookCrossing
                                                             activity was organized in

                                                             students to take and read.

            • Battle of the Books                                          The monthly book promotion gave
            Congratulations to our team of 12 ‘bookworms’, who             students a chance to share their
            won third prize in the ‘Hong Kong Battle of the Books’         passion for the joy of living a bookish
            competition. In this live school-on-school battle, the         life!
            students demonstrated their abilities, knowledge and
            understanding of the books they had read. Not only did
            they gain knowledge, but also enjoyment from reading
