Today, S5 Chinese History and History students visited the Hong Kong Palace Museum to explore the highly anticipated ”Ancient Egyptian Civilization Exhibition“.
With detailed explanations from professional docents, students had the privilege of viewing precious historical artifacts up close. The engaging interactive experiences in the exhibition were a major highlight—everyone even got to translate and spell out their own names in ancient Egyptian hieroglyphs! This journey, which felt like traveling through time, allowed students to gain a deeper understanding of the mystery and charm of ancient Egyptian culture.
This field trip not only brought textbook knowledge to life but also effectively broadened the students‘ global horizons. In addition, they visited other special exhibitions in the museum, such as ”Jewels: Masterpieces of Jewelry from The Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York“. Immersed in a rich cultural atmosphere, everyone spent a fulfilling and unforgettable afternoon together!
