Today, our S4 and S5 History students stepped out of the classroom for field trips to the Hong Kong Cemetery in Happy Valley and the Sai Wan War Cemetery respectively. The S4 students also visited the Hong Kong Museum of the War of Resistance and Coastal Defence.
By tracing the footsteps of modern Chinese elites and revolutionary martyrs, and looking back at the history of the War of Resistance, the students deeply realized that the development of Hong Kong and our motherland have always been closely intertwined.
Whether they were pioneers driving historical changes or martyrs who sacrificed their lives for peace, they all demonstrated a selfless spirit of defending our homeland. History is not far away. We hope everyone will remember the sacrifices of our predecessors and carry forward their courage and commitment to our country and society.
