Our Perth Study Tour was an absolute success—a transformative journey that beautifully blended academic challenge, cultural immersion, community service, and exciting adventures!
Throughout the tour, our girls continuously stepped out of their comfort zones to expand their horizons. They began by sharpening their minds through dynamic workshops at St. Catherine’s College, an empowering Toastmasters session, and interactive debate activities, all of which honed their critical thinking and helped them grow into confident, expressive communicators in English.
Building on these communication skills, the students then ventured out to explore Perth firsthand. During a vibrant city tour, they discovered local landmarks while actively interviewing residents and visiting tourists, gaining rich insights into Australian life and international perspectives. This deep dive into local culture naturally extended into an academic exchange, as our girls experienced high school life alongside local buddies during a full-day immersion at John Curtin College of the Arts. To complete this authentic Aussie experience, they spent a warm weekend with host families—embracing everyday living through scenic Swan Valley road trips, beach outings, creative sewing projects, and cozy shared meals.
Beyond the classroom and home stays, the itinerary was packed with iconic Western Australian discoveries. The girls interviewed university students, visited the famous Perth Zoo, explored the rich heritage of historic Fremantle, and captured lasting memories at the famous Blue Boat House. Alongside these exciting outings, they also demonstrated true global citizenship; demonstrating real leadership and care for the planet, they studied local biodiversity and rolled up their sleeves to plant native trees at a revegetation site.
Bringing all these experiences together, the tour concluded with an inspiring Finale Showcase. Taking to the stage, the girls proudly celebrated their personal milestones, showcased their growth, and reflected on their incredible achievements before heading home.
Ultimately, we could not be prouder of our students for their proactive attitudes, infectious energy, and outstanding resilience. They return home not only with enhanced language skills and lifelong friendships, but as confident global citizens with hearts full of unforgettable memories!
