The 10th Pooi To Qipao Design (Primary Section) Competition

Pooi To Middle School has long been dedicated to promoting the culture of the Qipao. This year marks a significant milestone as we host the 10th Pooi To Qipao Design (Primary Section) Competition.

Under the theme "Creating Together, Journeying Together • Navigating Values," this year’s competition received an overwhelming response of 2,002 entries from 57 primary schools. The standard of work was exceptionally high, leaving a lasting impression on our judges.

From Design to Creation
The selection process was rigorous:

Initial Selection: Ms. Yeung Ching (Head of Visual Arts) and Ms. Pang Ue-fei shortlisted 124 entries.

Finalist Selection: From these, 24 outstanding designs were chosen to enter the Final Round held on March 7, 2026.

During the finals, the shortlisted students visited our campus to personally bring their designs to life by crafting their own miniature Qipaos.
